Christmas Party

It’s that time of year again — let’s come together to celebrate, unwind, and share some festive joy!

Join us for our Annual Yoga Christmas Party, a relaxed evening to connect, laugh, and enjoy the company of our wonderful yoga community.

Bring a plate of something delicious to share and anything you’d like to drink. There’ll be plenty of space to mingle, chat, and simply soak in the good vibes. Everyone is welcome — bring your friends, partners, or anyone who’d love to join in the celebration.

Feel Good Gentle Yoga - Tuesdays @ 5pm

Let the day’s tension melt away in this slow, nurturing yoga class designed to help you unwind, release stress, and leave feeling calm, balanced, and refreshed.


We move mindfully through gentle stretches and simple standing postures that ease stiffness, improve mobility, and restore your energy—without putting strain on wrists or knees.

You’ll be guided through a peaceful sequence:

  • Arrive & Ground – take a moment to breathe, tune in, and let go of the outside world
  • Gentle Warm-Up – loosen tight muscles and wake up the body
  • Simple Standing Poses – build strength, stability, and ease
  • Balancing Posture – find focus and calm
  • Cool Down & Relaxation – stretch, soften, and sink into deep rest

There are no tricky transitions, no vinyasas, gentle on the wrists and knees—making this class beginner-friendly and ideal if you’re looking for a gentle practice that’s kind to your joints.

Whether you’re new to yoga or simply want a slower-paced class to de-stress and reconnect, you’re warmly welcome. You’ll leave feeling lighter in body and mind, and ready for the rest of your week.

Transformational Yoga – For Ongoing Practice
If you’re ready to deepen your yoga journey, build strength and flexibility, and experience lasting physical, mental, and emotional transformation, this is the class for you.

Each 60-minute session blends:

  • Floor-based warm-ups to gently prepare your body
  • Standing and balancing poses to build stability and focus
  • Sun salutations for energy and flow
  • Alignment guidance to keep your practice safe and effective
  • A touch of yoga philosophy to inspire your week
  • A themed focus to give your practice intention
  • And, of course, a blissful final relaxation in savasana

Expect variety (Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Peak Poses), a supportive atmosphere, and a healthy dose of laughter along the way. Options and modifications are offered so you can practice at a level that’s right for you—though this class is not suitable for complete beginners. If you’re brand new to yoga, please contact me for my next 8-week beginner course.

All in-person classes run on a monthly membership—keeping you committed, consistent, and supported. Membership also gives you access to any of my 6 in-person yoga classes per week, so if you miss your regular session, you can easily catch up.

Your membership includes my Community Yoga Class Pass which covers all 6 in-person classes in and around Bury St Edmunds so if you have to miss this class, you can just turn up in any one of the other 5.

Risby Beginner Yoga began in September 23. It's small, intimate, extremely friendly but growing community.

Whether you're new to yoga or looking to rekindle your practice, I will guide you through a balanced and holistic yoga practice, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques. This class will help you to discover the numerous benefits of yoga as you build strength, improve your balance, increase flexibility, and find more inner peace.

Join this small group of yogis and take the first step towards a healthier mind and body. No prior experience required – all you need is an open heart and a willingness to embrace the present moment.

All my in-person classes run on a monthly membership. This helps keep you committed and accountable. It also gives you the choice of 6 in-person yoga classes a week should you need to miss your regular class for any reason.

Step into a warm, candlelit space and leave the outside world behind. This gentle yoga class uses deliberate slow flows, longer stretches, mindful breathing, and guided relaxation to help you release the tension of your day. Perfect for calming your nervous system and preparing for a deep, restorative night’s sleep.

The Unitarian Meeting House - All levels morning yoga

This is another super friendly and inclusive yoga class and is aimed at those who

  • care equally about their emotional, mental & physical health
  • want to improve/maintain strength, balance and flexibility for life
  • want to commit to a regular practice
  • have a sense of humour
  • enjoy coffee and cake on the odd occasion after class
