Weekly Ashtanga Yoga Practice (Online Drop-In)

This weekly class offers a steady, guided Ashtanga practice for those who already have some experience of the method and want to practise regularly in a supportive online space.

Ashtanga is traditionally built through repetition and consistency. Practised week by week, the sequence becomes familiar, the breath steadier, and the body stronger — allowing confidence to grow naturally over time.

This class is less about learning new material and more about deepening what you already know.

What to expect

Each class will follow the traditional structure of the Ashtanga Primary Series, with clear guidance and options offered throughout.

You can expect:

  • A strong, breath-led practice

  • Repetition of familiar postures and transitions

  • A steady pace that supports focus and rhythm

  • Options and modifications to help you practise sustainably

  • Space to build strength, stamina, and concentration over time

The emphasis is on consistency rather than perfection, and on learning through regular practice.

Who this class is for

This class is suitable if you:

  • Have completed the Ashtanga Yoga Foundations course

  • Or already have some experience of Ashtanga

  • Are comfortable with Sun Salutations A & B and basic vinyasa

  • Want a regular, structured practice you can return to each week

If you’re completely new to yoga or Ashtanga, I’d recommend starting with the Foundations course before joining this class.

Why practise this way?

Ashtanga is a practice that rewards showing up.

Practising regularly allows the sequence to settle into the body, the breath to become steadier, and the mind quieter. Over time, the practice becomes less about effort and more about rhythm, presence, and trust.

This weekly class is here to support that process — offering structure, continuity, and a place to practise alongside others.
